XDBL is a distributed e-mail security network that protects thousands of customers worldwide. We use several thousand algorithms, third party sources and/or manual confirmation before we categorize something as a spam or virus. To protect our customers from dangerous hosts, from time to time we will place confirmed SPAM sources on our internal realtime blacklist (RBL) and issue the following message:

Please check if your IP address is actually listed in our RBL. We want to be a responsible NET citizen and remove offending hosts as fast as possible if we have made a mistake and you are a legitimate sender. We routinely expire abusive hosts from our lists so please check if your mail server is still on our blacklist.
